Terms of use

Arkhety is a personal MVP run by Aleix Alcácer Sales as an individual, not as a registered company. By using the demo or paying for an analysis, you agree to the terms below.
1. The service
Arkhety lets you upload a CSV and runs archetypal analysis on it, returning a set of archetypes with plain-language descriptions. The free tier (Lite) lets you run the analysis on a sample dataset or your own CSV, with a cap of 500 rows and 15 columns. The Plus plan (€9 per analysis) raises the cap to 2,000 rows and 25 columns. The Pro plan (€19 per analysis) raises it further to 5,000 rows and 50 columns, and automatically detects the right number of archetypes between 1 and 10.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to upload only anonymised, non-personal data. Uploading personal data (names, emails, phone numbers, government IDs, etc.) is prohibited. The app blocks files containing such fields automatically; if any slips through, you are responsible for it. Do not use Arkhety for unlawful purposes or to process data you do not have the right to analyse.
3. Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. Each €9 purchase grants one analysis run on the dataset you upload during that session.
Because the compute is consumed immediately when you run an analysis, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If the app failed, crashed, or returned nothing meaningful through no fault of your input, write to aleixalcacer@gmail.com and we'll review your request fairly. Refunds are not granted simply because you didn't like the result.
4. EU right of withdrawal
Under EU consumer law, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a digital service purchase. However, by clicking "pay" and immediately running the analysis, you expressly request that the service starts before the 14-day period ends, and you acknowledge that this waives your right of withdrawal once execution has begun. The case-by-case refund policy in section 3 still applies on top of this.
5. No warranty
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee correctness, availability, uptime, or fitness for any particular purpose. Archetypal analysis is an exploratory tool; results should be interpreted critically and not used as the sole basis for material decisions.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Spanish law, the operator's total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the last 12 months — that is, at most €9 per analysis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
7. Intellectual property
The Arkhety name, logo, landing page and app code are the property of Aleix Alcácer Sales. The data you upload remains entirely yours; running an analysis on it grants us no rights over it.
8. Changes
These terms may change as the service evolves. The most recent version will always be available at this URL, with the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of Spain. If you are a consumer in another EU country, you retain the protection of mandatory consumer rules in your country of residence.
